NOSOTROS HEMOS COGIDO ESE TERCIO Y HEMOS HECHO UN TERCIO&nbsp; Hace tiempo que en Limonar de Santomera nos enfrentamos a un problema que afecta tanto a agricultores como al medioambiente: el desperdicio. En la campaña 2023/24, en España, se tiraron 400.000 toneladas de limón. Muchos agricultores se ven obligados a tirar gran parte de su cosecha, debido a que algunos limones no cumplen los criterios estéticos para su comercialización en fresco. Alguien tenía que hacer algo, y nosotros hemos hecho una cerveza. Clarica nace de un problema que afecta tanto a agricultores como al medioambiente, y es una forma de hablarle directamente al consumidor final. De decirle que hay otra forma de hacer las cosas. Que hay limones con pequeñas cicatrices que merecen una segunda vida. Que la sostenibilidad no es solo una palabra en un informe, sino una actitud constante. Y que desde Limonar de Santomera no estamos dispuestos a desperdiciar ni un solo limón más. WE’VE TAKEN THAT THIRD AND TURNED IT INTO A PINT At Limonar de Santomera, we’ve been tackling a problem that affects both farmers and the environment: food waste. In the 2023/24 season, 400,000 tonnes of lemons were thrown away in Spain alone. Many farmers have to discard a large part of their harvest because some lemons don’t meet the cosmetic standards required for the fresh market sector. Someone had to do something – so we made beer. Clarica was born out of a problem that affects both farmers and the environment. It’s our way of speaking directly to the end consumer. Of telling them there’s another way of doing things. That there are lemons with small scars that deserve a second chance. That sustainability isn’t just a word in a report – it’s a daily mindset. And at Limonar de Santomera, we’re no longer willing to waste a single lemon.
